Encouraging Women to Choose Life

We need compassionate people to be a part of the lives of women and men in our community who are in need. You can be a part of empowering women to choose life. The ways you can help are endless. Ask God what He would have you to do and come join us!

Volunteer

You can make a difference. Your service is priceless to Alpha Women's Resource Center no matter if you are on the frontlines meeting with clients, making the grounds beautiful, or providing funds for programs to flourish. Give the most valuable thing you have: yourself! Find a way to be involved and make a difference in a young woman's life.
Client Advocates

If you love God and love people, we need you!  Client advocates assist women through each step of their visit – from the pregnancy test forward, offering truth, hope and encouragement.

All volunteers go through an in-depth training program and a typical volunteer shift is four (4) hours per week, either from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Fatherhood Mentor

Male volunteers are trained to come alongside dads to teach men how to be the best father and man of God they are designed to be.

Administrative Assistant

Volunteer to perform basic office tasks such as copying, filing, answering the phone, sorting baby clothes and other administrative tasks.

Baby Store Organizer

Volunteer to keep the baby store looking fresh and current.  Rotate baby items, change the display theme, and restock items for mothers to enjoy their shopping experience.

Maintenance Helper

Volunteer to do small maintenance projects, cleaning, and/or lawn and grounds care.

Fundraising

Volunteer to help with Alpha Women’s Resource Center’s different fundraising events:  Annual Fall Banquet, Spring Walk4Life, Baby Bottle Change for Life campaign from Mother’s to Father’s Days, or the late summer 5K Run to the Light.

Board Member

Volunteer to serve on the Alpha Board as a board director.  Board directors are committed Christians with a heart for local missions like Alpha Women’s Resource Center.

The Board meets once a month and are active in all aspects of the Alpha ministry – prayer, financial support, attendance at fundraising events, speaking about the center, and using their circle of influence to benefit the ministry.

Financial Gifts

Any financial gift to Alpha Women's Resource Center has a significant impact towards providing services to abortion-minded women who want answers to their questions about their pregnancy.  Your gift provides for pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, and programs such as abortion recovery, fatherhood mentoring, life skills training, and abstinence education.  Your gift reminds us we are not alone in supporting life!

Material Gifts

Alpha Women’s Resource Center is able to bless women and men with items in our Baby Store, Women of Worth Boutique, and Fatherhood Program.  Your material donations allow women and men to shop for their new baby for items such as clothing, car seats, and cribs at the Baby Store, grooming items, jewelry and stationary at the Women of Worth Boutique, and handheld tools through the Fatherhood Program.  Alpha Women’s Resource Center can provide you or your organization with a list of items that are needed.  This is a wonderful way to provide tangible support to a father, mother and their new baby.
