Alpha Women's Resource Center's programs strengthen families through Mother-to-Be classes, Fatherhood Mentoring, Job Readiness classes, Abortion Recovery meetings, and Sexual Risk Avoidance education. A donation of your time, talents, or funds continues to show families hope through their current circumstances.
Every service is free and confidential, and every program is built to walk with a person past the first appointment.
When a woman experiencing an unplanned pregnancy comes through our doors, she is shown the love and hope of Christ. Trained client advocates and medical staff provide factual information about her options in a confidential environment, along with free pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, and STI testing.
Medical servicesA customized series of lessons on topics ranging from prenatal care to child care for children up to age two, plus confidential counseling, a labor and delivery class, and the Women of Worth program. Parents earn "mommy money" and "daddy money" for the center's Baby Store.
Counseling and educationFor each of the more than 64 million lives ended since 1973, there is a mother whose life has been changed forever. We walk alongside women who need to see that their decision does not define them, and that healing and joy can be found again.
Abortion recoveryDesigned for men to discover how to be the best father and man of God they were created to be. Using The Practical Fatherhood series, the program addresses the specific challenges new fathers face and prepares them to start a family with the right tools.
Fatherhood Adventure"Just Think" equips students in grades 6 to 12 with truth today for a brighter tomorrow: healthy relationships, character, and the positive outcomes of remaining sexually abstinent until marriage, taught by trained educators in schools, home school groups, and churches.
Abstinence educationComputer skills training that prepares clients to enter the workforce, from the basics of operating systems, email, and Microsoft Office to cover letters, interviews, time management, and workplace communication.
