Medical professionals are an important part of the ministry at Alpha Women's Resource Center. Your training allows you to communicate effectively with women in need while providing factual information and critical health services to help them choose life. At Alpha, you will experience tangible results that can be measured in lives saved and changed.
Medical staff volunteers are critical to saving lives at Alpha. If you are an RN, Nurse Practitioner, Sonographer, Physician Assistant, or Physician, your expertise is needed at our center. For as little as 4 hours once or twice a month, you will save lives.
Without nurses, Alpha cannot provide many of the vital life-affirming services currently offered to women facing unplanned pregnancies. Alpha needs nurses to interact with clients to complete medical intake forms, perform and confirm pregnancy testing, and perform ultrasounds.
When a woman considering abortion sees her baby through an ultrasound, 80% of the time she chooses life. RDMS technicians and RSs trained in ultrasonography are needed to perform ultrasounds, giving women considering abortion the first picture of their unborn child.
